Fox Tale Stud is located in Limeport, Pennsylvania , conveniently located between Philadelphia Park and Penn National . Set on natural limestone- enriched soil , which is essential to growing strong boned , healthy foals, our home base farm currently features a large NEW 30 stall mare & stallion station, a separate foaling barn, a dozen small individually fenced turn-outs, conducive to lay- ups and mares with new foals , 5 medium sized paddocks in horse-safe diamond mesh fence and 5 large turnout pastures with run in sheds, again, all in diamond mesh fence. We maintain a good relationship with the area satellite farms surrounding us , who are experienced and able to assist with our overflow of foal – outs or mare care.

Our horses are fed with excellent quality alfalfa-mix hay, with in-foal mares given pure alfalfa. From Thoroughbred Times article:
With the legalization of slots in Pennsylvania in 2004, the landscape of Thoroughbred racing and breeding in the Keystone State began to change for the better. As the previously stagnant industry looked ahead to a much-needed infusion of money into its purses and incentive program (12% of slot revenues would go directly to racing), farms began to expand and new stallions arrived—the type of horses that would likely have stood elsewhere under different circumstances. At the forefront of this show of optimism were Vince Tucciarone and Dawn Newman, owners and operators of Fox Tale Stud, a compact stallion and mare station near Coopersburg. The partners started out with World Champion Quarter Horses, but segued into Thoroughbreds a few years ago with the promise of better days ahead. Today, they offer clients a boutique roster of stallions, arguably the strongest group assembled under a single Pennsylvania barn for 2008. They represent some of the world’s most influential bloodlines. Newman said “As Pennsylvania breeders continue to upgrade their broodmare bands to take advantage of increased purse monies in the state, they want big-league stallions in their own backyard that can help them achieve their big-league goals.”
